I love this towel from Roxy. If I spent $40 on towels- I'd definitely get this one in a heartbeat- but since Target meets my drying needs- I'm just going to adoringly look at this one. Have a great weekend everybody! Get out of the house, have a bbq, take your dog to the beach, and eat some ice cream.
Had a girls day with my best friend and maid of honor Chris, at Glen Ivy Hot Springs today. If you live in the Southern California region- I highly recommend going there. Every time I leave I can't believe I don't get massages on a monthly basis. You can even arrange to have your massage underneath the oak trees.
I'm so excited. After a wonderful day at work, I come home- and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature box, with Fete by Jung Lee inside. Ok- so the end didn't really go- but I'm still super excited! Each page is full of insightful tips and beautiful images. I'm loving the chalkboard seating chart instead of escort cards... we shall see.
Alright- Photo Monday #2! Today I am featuring the talented Trever Hoehne. His images are all creative, fun, and unique. I love how everyone is doing something different in the first one. Check out his photography blog for more awesome images.
WOW- so much happened yesterday. I made the appointment to have my first bridal gown fitting. Danny tried on tuxes. Made a decision on the bridesmaid dresses (more on that later), and we have preliminary dates set for the bridal shower and bachelorette party! yay! Also- my super awesome bridesmaid Kristie purchased these beautiful Kate Spade invites to send out for my Bridal Shower! The kelly green is one of our wedding colors and the invites are just so beautiful! I love them. Thanks Kristie!
While fishing around the Kate Spade website, I also found these fun invites below. They're designed for baby announcements but I think they would be perfect as bacheloretter party announcements too!
Sorry for the delay in posts- I had finals last week and then graduated on Saturday! yay! I'm now ready for the world- college degree in hand- and have no idea what I want to do. But I do know this- I love my blog- and I will continue on with it.
From this point on- I'm going to try and get a bit more organized and focus Monday blogs on fantastic photographers.
Nate & Jaclyn over at The Image is Found are, in every sense, fantastic photographers! Check out their pictures below. I've been hooked on their blog since I started wedding planning... Go check out their blog- you'll be hooked too.
While driving around on my lunch break, I stumbled across "Taste of France," a charming and delicious French bistro in Huntington Beach. I felt like I was in Europe- sitting out on the patio, sipping my iced coffee and eating my sandwich- lunch was perfect.
With my heavy load of finals and papers this last week - my connection with Starbucks Iced Coffee has escalated to a new level- but if I ever get to this point, someone please sit down and talk with me... or at least have some with me
Yesterday I received word that my wedding dress has arrived- and 2 months early! I can't wait to go try on my beautiful gown and dance around the store. But sorry no pictures- I can't risk Danny accidentally sneaking a peek :)
My grandparent's house is a mix of Martha Stewart and Anthropologie... and their home was like that way before either became popular. It's the perfect place to relax with my family, take a nap, and read a good book. Here are some shots I took while walking around their backyard with Maverick.
Don't ask me how I got it- but this is a picture of my future children. Danny & I are focused on getting married and want to spend a lot of time together before ever having kids- but seriously- when we do- this is what they will look like... or at least, this is what they will be wearing.
Here are just a couple of my favorites from yesterday. We had so much fun playing with Maverick on the beach and trying to calm his fear of water. Even the spot we parked in had a hour left on the meter- worked out great since we forgot quarters :)
My blog was named after silver pencils my mom gave me in grammar school. They had been hidden until a few months ago because of their inscription: "Brandi, a very special girl." Back then- they embarrassed me, today- I love them! They're shiny, upbeat, and have my name on them- what's not to love? And there they are on my desk... the silver ones :) I'm so happy I saved them
Hey there! I'm Brandi- a southern California girl who moved to Wyoming in search of adventure and pine trees. I love black coffee, old books, folk rock, and my absolutely wonderful husband. I run 2 lovely shops by day, hike on the weekends, and feel so blessed to be living this life.
